Everything a person can do on Maze Maker (Rectangle, Hexagon, Round and Shapes), a program or AI agent can do with the same inputs and get the identical result.

Maze Maker (Rectangle, Hexagon, Round and Shapes)

Make printable mazes with square or hexagon cells or round “theta” mazes, optionally cut to a heart, star, circle, diamond, triangle or a shape you draw with # signs. Choose the recursive backtracker (long corridors), Kruskal or Wilson (uniform random) algorithm, up to six mazes per page and answer keys with the solution path.

Inputs of Maze Maker (Rectangle, Hexagon, Round and Shapes)
FieldTypeDefaultDescription
shapeselect (rect, hex, circle)"rect"Cells
colsinteger16Columns
rowsinteger20Rows (rings for a round maze)
maskselect (none, heart, star, circle, diamond, triangle, custom)"none"Outline
maskTexttextarea—Own shape (# = inside). One text line per row; # marks a cell inside the maze. Columns and rows then come from the drawing.
algorithmselect (backtracker, kruskal, wilson)"backtracker"Algorithm
countinteger1Number of mazes
perPageselect (1, 2, 4, 6)"1"Mazes per page
seedtext"maze-1"Seed. The same seed and settings always give the same puzzles. Change it for new ones.
titletext—Title on the page (optional)
answersbooleantrueAnswer-key pages
